Listening to the Holy Spirit and living authentically requires intentional daily practices rooted in Scripture John 14:25-26. So how can we practically listen to the Spirit and step out in faith today?
1. Let’s Quite the Noise. Set daily boundaries. Turn off digital notifications for 15 minutes each morning and listen to the Holy Spirit for instructions. Psalms 46:10
2. Step out in small actions. Obey immediate prompting send that encouraging text or help that neighbour right away. Galatians 6:9, Luke16:10
3. Embrace Radical Honesty. Acknowledge your mistakes and feelings to God without filtering them. James 5:16, Proverbs 28:13
4. Find trusted mentors. Surround yourself with godly women who love the ‘real you’ so you can encourage each other to step out. Proverbs 27:17
5. Speak your truth. Share your faith or your boundaries calmly and confidently when tested. Also confess your struggles to break isolation. 1 Peter 3:15
6. Lastly accept discomfort. Growth happens when you move forward despite feeling afraid. James 1:2-4, Hebrews 12:11
